A few of my colleagues were smittened with the boy when I brought him to my workplace recently and left him with them for a few hours while I worked. They said he was so sweet and well behaved and they’ve since kept asking when I’m going to bring him over again because they’re too happy to babysit him.
I wouldn’t have left him in the room if I had a choice but it was a last minute arrangement. Good thing the boy is quite meek, takes well to adults generally and is very patient. That’s why I had no qualms about bringing him along even for my hairdo and beauty treatments on some days.
But he doesn’t always put on his best if the adults are playful with him. Like about a week ago, we were both having a spa session together and were greatly distracted with the boy’s runnings and shoutings outside the room. All because there were young adults who played soldiers with him. So you bet we did not have a very restful spa session ultimately.
Still, we’ll continue to bring him everywhere we go, even for work and meetings if we have to. They always say three is a crowd but in our case, he makes good company for us and we can’t imagine not having him along!

wow…I am impressed, i doubt i can ever leave my kids (especially both together) with anyone, they will def drive the other party MAD.
Jan: That’s because there are two of them. Mine would go haywire with another kid too!

That’s quite common isn’t it? When they are played with.. they laugh, the scream, they shout..
