While shopping at Meidi-Ya on Saturday, we witnessed a Japanese boy of about 4 or 5 years old falling from the trolley with his head and back flat on the ground. Of course he cried out loud even though his mom was trying her best to comfort him. Both my husband and I felt so bad for the boy and I had to take a good look at the man whom I believed to be the dad because all he did was just stood still holding on to the trolley. No offers of comfort to his child at all! Then shortly after that incident, another child was crying uncontrollably too. Again, the dad just looked on, as if the child crying wasn’t his.
So if you think our local men are bad, well think again. I’ve seen scores of our local men taking good care of their young and offering assistance to their wives. Japanese men? Oh geez. I certainly hope not all of them are so loveless towards their kids. At least not my Takuya Kimura please!
