Increasingly I’ve become very concerned about his vision. In fact I was rather nervous about his eyesight test recently and it looks like I do have something to worry about.
Unlike our time, kids these days have more entertainment in the form of computer and electronic gadgets; hence making them susceptible to developing myopia at an earlier age. The good thing about the boy is he’s not into tele that much. In fact, he can go without watching one single TV program the entire day. He also hasn’t been on the PC that much lately, mainly because he’s usually distracted with his toys or his books. But he loves his PSP gadget and because I don’t want to rob him of his fun, I let him play on it twice a day. That’s probably the culprit!
For now, we have to bring him to a refraction clinic to find out what needs to be done. Hopefully we can rectify his vision and keep it as clear as possible. Which reminds me – should go get him a good reading light soon!
