My little pot of sweet basil has gone kaput! Because I have no patience providing them with tender, sweet loving care anymore.
I got so tired of having to water the pot of basil a few times a day and also tried of waiting for them to grow. So after looking at how they were all slowly withering away, I told the maid to dig them all out and throw them away.
Yeah, so much for my green fingers! No more plants for me ever! The only one I ever have luck with is the cactus growing outside because it does not require any sort of care. I don’t even have to water it and it is still growing taller by the day!

i have a cactus that i’ve kept since 1993! No kid, they’re the only plants i can keep alive too.
carrie: Haha…we’re the cactus people! Let’s see…no, mine isn’t as old as yours though.

Your sweet basil inspired me to start potting again but before I can find the seed, the inspiration had withered… Im quite skeptical about my success as not only we need green fingers, environment is as important… my house is really not meant for plants. Indoor stale air, humid & hot… Outdoor too strong wind… my plant never can survive more than a week, not to say having new sprout…
wtpg: The trick is to keep them near the window, but not too near. But you’re right. Too much consideration…too much work!

Haha. The pot is still nice decoration though. Why not get silk flowers or plants. They do look so like the real thing these days. Then you can still have some greens without having green fingers. Lol.
mumsgather: That’s a thought but the pot has been around for like 8 years or more at least…all the time empty!

I tried keeping cactus but it died within a month!! Haha…seems like my fingers are not meant for plants at all…
Eileen: Haha…you and I are the same then! Green fingers not!

How about airplants? Just make sure you don’t lose them because they’re so tiny
DM: What are airplants? I seem to recall reading them…need to go google for them.
