casserole of my life

Countdown: 82 days

He’s been really serious about the event ever since signing up about 2 weeks ago. I didn’t think he would be so on. “I don’t want to come in last!” he told me.

Singapore, 8 September 2008 – Registration for the 7th Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon has well exceeded organisers’ expectations by achieving its target of 48,000 runners in just seven weeks. Registration numbers for the event this year far outstrips that of previous years with the current number surpassing last year’s total of 40,500 runners. Heartened with the response from the public, organisers have decided to open another 2,000 running slots for runners who are keen to be part of the country’s premier national running event.

With such numbers, I would be embarrassed too if he came in last. Especially since he’s been training so rigorously, even at the expense of celebrating mooncake festival with us.

  3. There will surely be a lot of casual joggers/walkers, so it’s not easy to become the last too.
