Funny how a child can change the family dynamics.
Besides family meals, I cannot quite remember instances where we were out together. I suppose it wasn’t such an exciting idea back then.
With a child, the feelings are different since the attention is on the kid. So the idea of inviting his parents and going out together as a unit seem like a good idea for bonding and for fun. And even though they griped that the place isn’t suitable for them, I know they did enjoy themselves.
So going on a short holiday together maybe plausible afterall although the man still isn’t quite keen on the idea.
Well, living together for a few hours or a few days is fine with me. Living together longer term is however, a bigger question mark.

I have that same reservation about living together and well, i guess an outing is an unselfish way of sharing your kid.
