As a Takuya Kimura zealot, I would never forgo the opportunity to catch any of his dramas or movies. But after watching the trailer for I Come With The Rain, I’m wondering if I want to see it at all.
The story looks interesting enough and the movie appears to be artfully made, but it also looks gory enough to turn me off. Well, you watch it and decide for yourself.
Anyway, instead of posting the gory trailer here, I rather put up this sexy Gatsby commercial. And if you want to find out more, read my post over at Asian Celebrity Commercials.
Just a second after I turned left, I heard the dreadful scratching sound and I knew I didn’t just mount the curb this time. So much for wanting to make a quick exit.
I didn’t stop to check but continued driving even though I felt really uneasy. And as soon as I reached home, I checked the car and true enough, it was badly scratched on the left bottom. Aiyah! What would the man say?
I sent him an SMS as soon as I stepped into the house, mentally preparing myself to be ticked off. My message read: “I scratched d bottom of d car while turning.” Three minutes later, this is what I received…

Since the last time I wrote this, there were more incidents of him showing interests in girls.
However, it’s not just any girls. He doesn’t show much interests in those from his class or his age group. As a matter of fact, he snubs them even though they shower him with attention.
I noticed that the girls he’s attracted to have certain physical attributes. Skinny with long hair. And something else that’s interesting and genes might have something to do with this. They’re always older!
He can even describe the girls as pretty, or not.
His dad thinks that this is a normal biological development. Well, I don’t know. But of course I just laugh it off. I mean, what else can I do? But seeing him trying to attract the attention of girls he sees by sticking his hands in his pockets and acting cool does worry me a little.
Makes me wonder where do five-year-olds pick up stuff like these from.
For someone who’s always particular about his apparel, I was surprised he picked this styleless tee and actually wore it out yesterday. All because he wanted to be seen as a duo with his son.
Honestly, I didn’t think he looked good in it. But the man was nonchalant and didn’t give two hoots even when someone commented within earshot that he look odd. All he cared was looking the part with his son.
So I gave him full marks for that. Because when he wanted to get one of these for me so that we can look like a Super Mario family, I said NO WAY without even a moment of consideration.
My best friend dropped over today again to finally post up most of her goodies. I am actually busy but I didn’t really mind spending six hours helping her out. Just cut down on six hours of sleep ha!

Anyway I was surprised that she’s having thoughts of giving up her craft. But I can see why she is disillusioned as she has been spending a lot of time putting together exquisite work only to face constant haggling from customers. I read about this a lot from indie craftsters.
So she’s taking a break and putting up her handmade jewelry on promotion. Check up her blog at Sanz Designs where she’s giving up to 40% off her handmade necklaces, bracelets and earrings. All prices have been updated to US$ and shipping is free locally although she can deliver international orders as well.
Well, a good excuse for that Mother’s Day gift.
