casserole of my life

So what if I’m sensitive?

concocted on Tue, 8 Apr 2008 @ 2:08 pm for Blogging, Rants

I’m sure by now, words are going round in the beauty blogging network that I belong to that I’m overly sensitive.  Nothing new.  I know some have already put me in that light before.

Seriously, how can I not be sensitive if these bloggers don’t respect basic community etiquette and are rubbing me all the wrong way?  And then conveniently blame it on the fact that there were no rules established, and this is not a competition.

Hello.  You mean I should still remain smiling and give way nicely when some bugger “jump queue” and want to be first when she’s obviously late compared to the rest of us?  Wah piang.

Can you try to picture this in real life?  What is this call?  Propriety dear.  And some bloggers can take the cyberspace for granted and decide that all these basic etiquettes don’t matter?

It’s funny.  Some bloggers have double standards.  Should I say they deviate really far from their real self.  And the funniest thing is that they think they can get away with it.

I tell you.  In real life, I make it a point to tell people off if they ever try to cut into my queue.  I have embarrassed a family in Italy when they decided it was their right to plonk themselves right in front of me and I have told one “chow ah beng” off for not queuing properly.

So why should I behave differently online huh?
