It’s funny that most of the cookbooks at home are bought by my husband. Everytime we walk into a bookstore together, he will inevitably end up grabbing one or two of these.
What he gets generally depends on his fancy. Sometimes it’s got to do with some cuisine he has tasted or sometimes it’s got to do with a place he’s visited. But it’s usually Asian fare going by the books we have.
One would think that I’m so lucky to have a husband who buys cookbooks. But the question that begs asking is, are these cookbooks put to use? And the answer?
There’s a layer of dust on these cookbooks even though they’re kept in the drawer.

I’m also a cookbook colector.
More to get inspiration on what to cook and how to use a certain ingredient. After that.. it’ll be collecting dust..
