Over a gossip session with Godma recently, we both agreed that it’s unwise for a woman to badmouth her husband to her kids, no matter how bad he really is. But just a few days afterwards, I found myself guilty of what I had then condemned.
I was going tsk tsk over a piece of tissue paper left on the bathroom sink, thinking the maid had left it there. But before I could say another word, my son who was near me blurted, ”MUST BE DADDY!” That definitely caught me by surprise. I mean, what made he say that?
Then I realised. I have been badmouthing the man too much.
Everytime I see crumpled tissue paper left on the table, I grumbled aloud, blaming the dad for the deed, even in the presence of the boy. That’s how he picked it up. And the damage cannot be undone. He’s forever going to associate tissue paper with his dad now. Crumpled or otherwise.

You made me feel real bad…………..

I thought that is “unethical” too… but 2nd thought, we are just speaking the truth what.. :p Isnt it unjustice to cast a false image too?
wtpg: Hmmm…you’ve got an interesting point there!
