Fantasutikku! My Takuya Kimura is going to be the Prime Minister of Japan come April!
It’s true! This is not a rumour.
“In an upcoming unnamed drama which is scheduled to begin airing on Fuji TV’s Monday night drama slot sometime in April, Takuya will play an elementary school teacher who, due to some circumstances, gets involved in the world of politics and eventually becomes the Prime Minister of Japan.”
Eri Fukatsu will co-star as Kimura’s secretary, an ambitious woman aiming to reform the country. This one I like. She played the tragic sister to Takuya in the 2002 drama series “Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi.”
And get this. The script is being written by Yasushi Fukuda, who also wrote the script for Hero. So I think this is going to be a hit! The Japanese will definitely be curious to see how Takuya will fare as their PM, even if it’s just on-screen, given their current political state.
Two more months! But meantime, I’m waking up to his latest Xylish CM at the Meji website. *drools*

Heheh!! for a minute..i thought it was for real..
