We didn’t have reunion dinner at home this year but despite that, I’ve been terribly busy till the very last minute. We only completed our shopping at about 4pm, finished washing our car at 6.30pm and then rushed for our reunion dinner at 8pm. Well, blame it on work commitments, procrastination and last minuteness!
But the dinner spread was really good with some interesting dishes. Except that with 7 adults eating like 10 person’s servings of an 8-course meal, it became quite a struggle to finish up the last few dishes, which happened to be the tastiest!
Well, if you ask me what is the meaning of Chinese New Year, I’ll tell you now that it is all about eating.
