No matter how much health supplements I take, no matter how much cream I slather on my face, and no matter how hip I try to dress, there’s just no pretending anymore. I can try hard to fake it, but hard as I try, I’m just not making it.
The age is in the eyes. Not the lines, but the sight. I am now stranded between short-sightedness and long-sightedness. I cannot read the words clearly with my glasses or my contact lens on, and without them, I cannot see too far either.
So while I try hard to look young, my internal organs aren’t listening. I guess it’s a clear case of the mind is willing but the body is weak.
