I hate math. My brain is really not wired for numbers. Something about them just turn me off completely.
And now, I have to teach this much detested subject to my child. OH GAWD.
I absolutely dislike those math exercises that I have to do with him at his Shichida lessons. And at home, it’s the last subject I’ll cover with him. Even then, I will flip through the assessment books and selectively pick out those that are easy to work with him. Or sometimes I take the easy way out by telling him the answers instead of teaching him.
But I must really remember not to teach him this awful subject when I’m PMSing. Like this morning. It was absolutely painful for both of us. Maybe the man was right when he said that 我家有一只河东狮 yesterday. I was shouting at the top of my lungs and it wasn’t far from the lion’s roar. In fact I shouted so hard, I had to take half an hour to rest on the bed afterwards.
Poor boy.

I’ll prolly be shouting too.. when i comes to my turn to teach chloe.
MB: But you prolly won’t roar at her…

LOL. I shouldn’t be laughing, but I’m curious — how do you teach in school when you’re PMSing? Hahaha
Don’t shout at me, ok.
Irene: Heheheh…I don’t roar at the older ones…cos I DON’T TEACH THEM MATH!….at most I nag non-stop.

I am lousy with numbers too but thank goodness Rayner never needed me to help him with his maths so far….may have to start shouting at RayAnne soon thou but i have a even better idea, get Rayner to coach his sister then i wouldn’t have to shout….muahahahaha *evil smirk*
Jan: Wow, what a brilliant idea. I wish I can farm that job out too.

with or without pms, i also roar at my poor girl. Sigh… I feel so lousy lately because I realize that I can’t contain my anger whenever I try to do some homeschool work with her. I think she is also affected by my mood swing and now becomes more attention seeking.
CM: You do? I always thought you’re very patient. I guess we all have our moods…and the worst is those raging hormones are hard to tame on somedays.

Poor boy.. Poor you.
I feel the same sometimes too.. loosing my patients, and instead of helping, I guess it makes her detest the work she was doing.
ZM: That’s why I try very hard not to lose my cool. Frankly, I’m quite patient when I’m not PMSing. But darn, the hormones are changing too often.
