The man told me he ate delicious tissue paper at his fave stall in Serangoon Gardens recently. I went what? Tissue paper? And he actually meant this:
Tissue Prata.
I heard them rambling about different servings of pratas this morning over the radio including this, and so after work today, I headed to the stall at Serangoon Gardens to give it a try. This stall by the way, is located within the corner coffee shop just opposite Chomp Chomp.
It’s not bad. A novelty that’s crispy and sweet. Fun to try at least once. But for me, I think once is just enough.

Heard abt tissue prata but hvn’t give it a try though!
ashes: Can try. Not bad. But just eat for fun…

Oooh. I tried this in Malaysia. I love it with some teh tarik.
Irene: You love this? It’s nice but I really don’t know what purpose it serves…apart from the fact it’s a testament of their great prata making skills…

some stalls make it into very huge cone shape, and i always see ladies and kids having this, especially with chocolate or strawberry fudge toppings =) always a nice alternative when i don’t feel like having the usual dough kind =)
Lia: It’s fun as a snack but maybe cos I don’t fancy sweet stuff so much so I wasn’t so taken by it.
