Wow, I didn’t know it’s so happening for families at Pasir Ris. And we actually spent two mornings over the weekend checking them out. Pasir Ris Park. Downtown East. Wild Wild Wet. Fish Farm. Kid’s Kampong. We are really big-time suagu!
Of course the boy was completely elated to be able to do so much since he was cooped up at home for most part of the week. Running around, playing at the park, climbing the obstacles, feeding the fishes, watching dogs swimming, and not forgetting checking out the many fountains and cactus.
And so we are to officially go check out Wild Wild Wet next weekend. I am so not looking forward to it. Meanwhile, I’ll be praying hard that the sun will go away and the weather will be cloudy. Or else I hope there is a cave in there I can hide.
Psst. Anyone knows of a weather voodoo?

Oh yes, it’s been so hot this weekend. My kids were feeling it and they showed their displeasure at the heat. Not fun!
moby: Yes, heat attracts tempers and tantrums galore!

Haven’t brought the crayolas there even tho we live in the east! I heard there is a place which does pony rides in pasir ris. What was worth visiting there?
carrie: Pony rides? Geez…I didn’t see any. Don’t know where is this. But I think the fish farm is good. They get to feed the first. They can catch fishes at the Fish Kampong but the entrance fee is expensive. $11!

it is hot here, too. i am so looking forward to a cooler weather. can you carry an umbrella to shield from the sun rays?
Belle: No, not at Wild Wild Wet cos it’s a water theme park where we’re to dip in the water and so forth. I don’t even think a hat is possible.

Besides the kids kampong, we’ve visited all the others, and i must say there’s really alot changes as compared to many years ago. Am also hoping for a cooler weather so that we can bring the boys to Pasir Ris Park…Damien has been bugging us…
Eileen: I only knew of the park but was surprised they moves the fish farm and the kampong there too. If you do bring the kids to the park, bring along insect repellent!
