It’s the first weekday of his school holiday and the boy is sick. What a shame.
It’s been awhile since he’s been ill, thanks to his daily dose of cod liver oil and Sambucol. The last time he was not too well with a sore throat, I gave him some watermelon frost pastilles and he was up in no time. This time, it’s another throat infection but because he was running a rather high fever, I brought him to the doc’s.
But still, he was able to doodle for some parts of the day. This is the first time I’m able to share his work on this blog because he has never shown much interest in drawing before. In the past, it was always mummy drawing on his behalf because he wasn’t confident to express himself on paper. Now, he’s very happy to draw even without any promptings.
His drawings are of course very kiddy and amateurish. You probably can’t figure out what those scribbles are. But they’re definitely full of his obsessions and I think you can call them the doodles of his life!
Hmm… how come you have the biggest head in the doodle? Any chance there’s some fountains in these doodles?
Irene: Hahaha…you noticed!!! I didn’t want to mention it but yeah, he drew me first *beams* and I’m like the biggest and tallest. Fountains…hmmm…actually more like some waterfall in between mountains.

apple cider vinegar with manuka honey works all the time for me where sore throat is concerned
Tracy: That’s interesting. I know manuka honey works but never tried with apple cider vinegar. Must try it next time.

I hope he’s feeling much better now..
and he draws good.. 
yer should look at my chloe’s doodles.. then you’ll know ..how good these are.. 
MB: Chloe is younger so needs a bit more time. Can you imagine he didn’t even want to draw by himself at her age? I bet one day she’ll amaze you…

Those are very nice and neat doodles for a starter. And I like how he drew his family. I think you are the center of his universe that’s why you’ve got the biggest head.

I think his doodles are lovely!!! Very creative for his age, and being a boy too…
Good to encourage him more, he may become a future artist!

You got to put that in a frame so when Gavin sees it, hopefully he can be more motivated to keep drawings….I like his drawing of you….at least he colours his drawings….I can never get Rayner to colour his drawings….he only like to draw with pencils.
Jan: I have to ask him to colour and noticed the nice roof top? I had to help him there.
