I was quite pleased with what I got for his teachers yesterday and spent about an hour putting these together with him this afternoon. I thought I was done when I realised I had completely forgotten to get for his teacher at Shichida whom we’re seeing tomorrow. I also forgot to get little cards for the presents.
So it’s back to the shopping cart!
And noticed the Chinese dictionary? I needed it to figure out how to write his Chinese teacher’s name as well as his name too. That counted for the hour.
I know. I’m quite hopeless with these things.
Actually I almost forgot about Teacher’s Day on 1 September if not for reading it on some mommy’s blog. Otherwise, it’ll be my fault if my son does get pinched!

the gift wrap looks so sweet! the chocolates so tempting!!!
Jes: Yeah, I had to stop myself from ripping apart the box to eat the contents!

Aiyo… being a parent in Singapore is so stressful ah - must always remember to ‘bribe’ the teachers… I’m just like you, I tend to forget about such things. Thank goodness the school here provide us with a school calender to help us remember the events.
crazymommy: A school calendar is a good idea. Here, they do keep us informed of important events. Just that usually for Teacher’s Day, we’re expected to know.

When I was about to crack my head on what to get for the girls teachers… I received an email from the sch organising committee, contribute $10 or more per child for organinsing a mini party & gifts for the teachers & children.
They had Macdonal that day & the children each received a mac goodies bag & a balloon.
The gift for teacher? No idea… Hopefully is not macdonal goodies bag too…haha
-_-
The sch was closed on 31 aug too -_-
wtpg: That’s why I almost forgot because I kept thinking got another week…but doing a get together for the school with the kids and teachers involved seem like a good idea…

Wow.. all teachers will be super happy.. with all the goodies the
parentskids are giving them.I didn’t give Zara’s teacher anything.. wonder if she’ll get pinched one of these days.
ZM: Don’t worry. I’m sure Zara will know what to say to prevent the teacher from doing any harm to her.
