My two boys at home are now so consumed with playing on these game stations.
For the small one, I have some amount of control as in I can designate the time that he is allowed to play on the little gadget.
And very fortunately, he has been rather cooperative, limiting himself to at most 10 mins at each play, twice or thrice a day. At the same time, I found that this is actually good in his eye training as he is currently tops in class when it comes to related activities.
For the big one, obviously I have no control. In fact, it has gotten so bad that he’s coming home late, claiming that he was hooked on the game station and hadn’t realised the time.
So who says such stuff are bad for kids? I say, they’re bad for adults. At least where my household is concerned!

as long as you know your husband is hooked on the game station, and not on something else, then, i think there is nothing to worry about unless he neglects his duties.
Belle: Heh. You’re probably right…

the big boy at my home is currently hooked on Wii =)
Lia: Hoho…I won’t even want him to be close to that one. It’ll be havoc no less for the two of them!

Gavin is good as he listens.
I know some kids will spend so much time on it that they don’t want to go out to enjoy the sun, the outdoor..
I have neighbour’s kids who are like that. And the parents will be sighing that the father (always the culprit) brought the gadget home.
ZM: Fortunately he isn’t like your neighbour’s kids. He would prefer to go out then stay home with his gadget. And yup…culprit is always the dad.
