No matter, Hollywood actor Josh Hartnett is a joy to work with, according to a Filipino staff member of Productions 56, the local firm handling the shoot of “I Come With the Rain” in Mount Diwalwal…
“He didn’t have work on the first shooting day, Friday; still he went to the set,” the staffer recounted. “He was just there to observe how we worked and to watch his [Japanese] co-star, Takuya Kimura.”
“I Come with the Rain,” with parts to be filmed in Hong Kong and Los Angeles, tells the story of a private detective, played by Hartnett, who heads to the Far East to search for a missing heir who has the power to heal with his touch. Also in the cast are Elias Koteas, a Canadian actor whose most recent film is the acclaimed “Zodiac,” Byung-hun Lee, Tran Nu Yen-Khe and Takuya Kimura.
SUGOI! But is this for real cos the funny thing is nothing about this has been reported in Japan. So fans are now questioning the validity of the reports.
But Hero the movie is definitely coming up and will be screened in Japan on 8 September. Watch the trailer here!
I need to catch my breath cos I’m hyperventilating real bad now. But before I go, I must report that my son can articulate Takuya’s name with much clarity and just last week he said this when he saw Takuya’s picture on my comps.
“Takuya very sad.”
“Why Takuya sad?” I asked.
“He sat on snow and very sad.”
Gosh. He remembers the opening scene from Karei-naru Ichizoku!

Hahahaha…. I feel exactly like that when Sara asks me about Harry Potter and declares she wants me to read the books to her. Danny complains I’m brainwashing her.

Aaaah.. mummy must be talking a lot about Takuya (actually, I can never remember his name in Japanese, but only remember his name pronunce in Cantonese.. Thanks to Canto entertainment program) at home.. and watching a lot of his movies to have the boy picked these up.
ZM: Never heard the cantonese version. Must try to pick it up from someone one of these days…
