I’ve been having rather persistent chest pains this week which got me alarmed. I told him about it and he dismissed them as anxiety pains and that it would go away as soon as my stress level is down.
I was rather upset about his nonchalance and that aggravated my already strained heart. It didn’t help that I have so much I want to accomplish, yet I’m not having the luxury of time. And not to mention that the boy was exceptionally uncooperative this morning.
But just awhile ago, I received a package from the postman. It’s the free samples of mineral makeup from Erth Mineral Makeup I was expecting. Straight away I did a happy dance and then I noticed that the pain on my chest actually lessened considerably! Well, it has taken a backseat for now and would come back I think – unless I keep receiving regular supplies of goodies in the post. Heh.
Anyway, I was surprised that the sizes of the samples are rather generous. They’ve written to me to ask me to do a review of their products in Viva Woman and have sent me samples of their foundation and eyeshadow to facilitate the process. I was happy of course, for the fact that my blog has been recognised again, but more happy because of the freebies. Aye, no point acting noble and pretending otherwise lah.
And to brag add on, I will also be receiving more free handmade jewelries in the post. This time courtesy of Wishgiving. I wrote an entry featuring their products, not expecting any sort of compensation but was pleasantly surprised by their extension of a US$200 gift voucher afterwards. Hee.
So more power to blogging. Not just because it satisfies my creative juices, but it’s really therapeutic and will help to ease off chest pain. As proven in my case.

Cool stuff..! now how do i get freebies too..
I could use some moisturising cream bathy thingie.. kekekke!!

Speaking of freebies, that ‘Tony Shue’ guy from LoHongka never sent those ‘promised’ complimentary gifts and worse, he even linked my blogsite to the LoHongKa’s site, under testimonials from customers. I got a good mind to either delete that post I wrote or password protect it. It’s not the freebies I’m after but pissed for being stood up per se.

Sometimes ago I experienced chest pain too… went for a treadmill test… luckily everything is normal… most prob is stress again. So SS, you take care too… dont overwork n have enough sleep esp at night… staying up till late night afterall is really no good for health esp us, woman… age catching up too(no offence hah :p)
Few weeks ago, I was burning mid-night oil but to finish some vcd series :p, the nxt morning I was so lethargic and can feel the stress on my chest again.
So, must take good care of urself too hah
saw ur recommendation on the lavendar cream… will have a try…
I hv combination skin but after my pregnancy, I realise oil pore (油疱) starts to grow on my neck n body and recently I realise it has aggravate on my face n even eye bag… so I tot maybe there some product specially for oil pore and I dont there to approach those beauty salon afraid that I will serrander to another force sale tatic and sign up more pagkage again
wtpg: Thanks for your advice. Yes, I should really rest more. Hopefully get some rest next week! For your skin, I think yours is due to hormone change since you mentioned after pregnancy. Instead of going to beauty salons, I suggest you go and see those dermatologists. Nowadays got a lot of skin clinics in the market and they’re very reasonable in terms of price. They can probably help you better.

I was saying your way of blogging and getting rewarded is better than P-P-P (maybe I can’t put these 3 alphabets together)
ZM: Clever mama! This is to avoid some idiots coming here to spout nonsence…

Wow.. this is another form of P-P-P huh but yours is more of writing genunely about a product and not being pressured writing one.
ZM: Hmm…it’s a form of promotion, but not being compensated via money…but in kind.

heh, you sounded so happy to receive your loots! maybe should change the title to ‘online shopping freebies is therapeutic’!
msff: Well, it’s more because of blogging really. I must have sounded like an el cheapo huh… Freebies is always abound but freebies due to blogging may not be the case though…
