casserole of my life

The beauty in the shower

concocted on Thu, 7 Jun 2007 @ 4:49 pm for Funnypot

While taking a shower is supposed to be a very relaxing activity, but it’s also a time when I feel MOST vulnerable.  To personal attacks that is.

Like last week.  The man poked his head into the bathroom to give me a silly riddle while I still had suds on my face and body.

Have you ever seen a watermelon taking a shower?

I knew he was up to no good.  Probably trying to joke at my expense.  Must be driving at the point that I have the figure of a watermelon.  So I refused to answer him even as he continued to taunt me.

Aiyah, you a
re 我的美人 mah!

(and I actually laughed out loud.)

Bilingualism.  Very bad idea.  Especially so with a super corny husband!

P/S:  Er…can you try to imagine a watermelon taking a shower?

  1. Oh my! and mine went crazy over ‘oiishi’ the other night when he was entertaining some Japs. He kept telling me that they want the lobster to die… translate oiishi into hokkien, and you get ‘hor yi si’. Corny. I agree. Husbands can be quite corny sometimes.

DR: Haha…I think my hub and yours can communicate quite well on some level…

  3. Agree with MB that it’s romantic.

Though they can be corny at times, I’m sure DR’s and your hubs are great guys to have around. I appreciate guys who can make me laugh. ;)

DT: Nice to have guys who can make us laugh…but a slight different story with guys who laugh at us.

  4. Hahaha, I’m subject to the same abuse too. It must be the Spore men!!! For me, it’s worse, he’ll be making these chow Ah Beng’s cat-call whistle, “Choook, Choook” sound. And now, Dillon is following suit. ;)

ee: Hohoho…I remember those chook chooks…but haven’t heard them for a long time.

  11. your hubby kinda cute lar… sometimes… Muahahaha

talking about this, 美人, you have any beauty remedy for oil pore on my face? getting worst leh… now invading around my eye bag too… :(

wtpg: Did you use new products recently? For oil control, you might want to try something to control the oil base. Try L’Occitane Matt Face Lotion. I just read from DR’s blog that it is effective. Oily skin is a common Asian problem unfortunately. But if you can find out why your skin is suddenly more oily, it can help with the problem. I find stress and food can create problems too.
