For those who blog, do you know who is your number ONE reader? Well, I know mine. It’s none other than my husband, who reads my blog daily and critiques my entries, telling me what I should or shouldn’t be writing.
It irks me completely that he ignores all my warnings and continues to comment on my blog entries, as if I’m writing his blog, and making insensitive remarks like:
“Eh, why are your entries of late so boring?”
“Huh, this kind of personal stuff also blog?”
“Wa, someone starting to show her own face huh?”
“Er, why never blog today?”
“See lah, always put me in bad light.”
I’m so freaked out. By thoughts that one day, I’m going to open up one of my entries and find him commenting in it! But on second thoughts, it’s not possible. Because I have comments moderation switched on!
PHEW.
my husband reads my blog very seldom. he is not fond of reading blog. he thinks it’s a waste of time as he is too busy with other matters like book writing and chess online.
Belle: Mine reads regularly unless he’s travelling. He wants to know if I’m bitching about him. Hahaha…but it’s a tool to enhance our communication really. He sometimes understand my feelings better through my writing.

Hahahaha. Thank you for this entry. I shall no longer email my blog posts to hubby who NEVER reads my blog despite various invitations to do so including giving him the url and a more desperate attempt of emailing certain posts to him.

That’s so sweet of him. He’s probably really interested to read what you write. Unlike mine, who only reads when he’s told to, or when he wants to check my google page ranking. But frankly, I’d rather my hubby not read nor comment on my blog.

At least he shows an interest in what you write!
Mine doesn’t read mine, he only does when he’s away on business trips and missing the girls. He’ll drop by only to see if I have posted any new photos of them.
