These past few days have been a bit mad for us because of a sudden increase in my workload. Thank goodness I have the man.
On top of rushing around to meet his project deadlines, juggling with absolutely crazy schedules for some last minute shipments, dealing with annoyingly difficult people and running errands for his trip, he managed to hold up very well on our domestic front; settled the defunct washing machine for me, covered my role to bring Gavin to school and even accompanied the boy for his first Shichida lesson.
There was hardly time for him to have a proper meal, let alone exercise, and he survived on only a couple of hours of sleep for the past few nights. With that little rest and all the stress adding up, it was no wonder that he bumped the back of the car two nights ago. Still, he was in good spirits.
On our way to the airport this morning, he kept reminding me to take care of myself and our boy. And he even bothered to stop at the station to top up a full tank of petrol to last me a good few days on the road.
So despite being quite an occasional asshat himself and not possessing any supernatural abilities, I think it won’t be too much to call him my superman for this once.

They do shine at the most appropriate time eh..??
MB: Yes, thank goodness they do!

so considerate of him to make sure you do not end up straying on the road because of lack of petrol! How long is he gone for?
msff: Till end of the week…actually it’s his job to fill up petrol all the time, even if I’m driving…

he is one of a kind. not all husbands are like him. he picks up the slack and helps more in the house when you are unable to do it. he definitely cares for his family.
Belle: Yes, he does care for the family. That one I agree 100%. And thank goodness he’s willing to help out whenever he’s needed.

wow, that’s quite a handful for the man…..he’s so nice, even bothered to top up the petrol tank for you, isn’t he sweet.
My man ah, don’t think will ask me to take good care of myself and the kids….he just assumes I will…
Anyway, take care while your man is away…he will be back very soon!
Jan: He’s probably worried that I’ll torture the boy…hahaha…

He definitely deserve the ’superman’ title!
And do take care while your superman is not in town!
Eileen: Thanks!

Ah… that’s so nice. I reckon you must have your hands full since you hardly post new entries so I didn’t ask you out this time.
DR: I am completely swarmed…

What a capable man you have there. Amazing!
Mine when preparing for a trip will just ignore every thing in the domestic front.. He can’t multitask, and his brain can only think about one think at one time. *sigh*
ZM: I wouldn’t say capable but he’s able to manage stress better than me…

How sweet
Yup, not all men will multi-task well, so urs deserve the title !
ssf: Must give the title and recognition to motivate more multi-tasking in future!
