casserole of my life

Mum’s jellies of joy

concocted on Thu, 1 Mar 2007 @ 2:05 pm for Parenting

For someone who doesn’t quite enjoy cooking or baking, I surprised myself by making these jellies for my child.

Even though the colours are not quite as pretty as those made by my mum, but they taste just the same as my favourite jellies.

These are extremely easy to make but still, it’s a big deal for a lazy bum like me.  And I enjoyed making them really, especially knowing that he’ll love to eat them.  This must be how my mum have felt when she was making them for me too.

Jellies in exchange for the joy on our child’s face and happiness in our hearts.

Aren’t all mothers the same?

  1. I already feel very happy cooking for my man and seeing him finish everything on the table. :)

DR: I’m sure…but the feelings are slightly different, for me at least. Well, you tell me next time… :)

  5. I was going to say “kids are easily contented” but I think I am going to retract that after thinking of my kids. It take a whole lot to please them, worst than the king.

And yes, all mummies are the same, all the hardwork just for that little smile and Thank you Mummy would suffice…..

Jan: Easily contented but sometimes difficult to please too…
