casserole of my life

Breakfast at Ikea Tampines

concocted on Sat, 9 Dec 2006 @ 5:33 pm for Eats, Places

We were back at Ikea Tampines this morning again.  I know.  We really should find more places to hang out since we were just there last weekend. But the only reason we were back again so soon was because my FIL wanted to check out the mega store.

And you know what?  This morning was definitely a lot more enjoyable for us.

First, we had a good breakfast to begin with.

Boy, I never know what a gem of a breakfast place Ikea really is until today because it’s usually lunch by the time we get to Ikea Alexandra in the past.  Imagine getting a plate of delicious mee rebus for $1.50 and eating it at our own leisurely pace at a pleasant ambience.   That’s good value for money if you ask me.

Then, there was hardly a crowd this morning so we had a lot more space to ourselves.

And finally, the boy didn’t kick up a fuss like last weekend and was almost at his best this morning.  I stayed outside to observe him the whole hour and he didn’t once misbehave.

So it looks like we’re gonna be seeing a lot more of Ikea in the coming weekends.  Okay, okay.  We need to move on really.  But that can wait until after breakfast right?

Michelle Yes, it’s a great store.  Not just for purchasing furnitures, but also for fun!
