I was initially lukewarm about this website I’m reviewing about wedding party gifts. I mean, what do you expect since my wedding was eight years ago and I’m not exactly the sort who gets too excited about wedding reception, even if it is mine.
So I was browsing through and checking out their entire catalogue featuring all types of pretty looking cheap wedding favors. Soap boxes, satin sachets, bottle stoppers, bottle openers, placecard holders, photo albums, coasters, candles and many more.
Then I realised that some of their items are really quite novel and unique. Like their floral cameras which are meant for the guests to take candid pictures of the wedding event. I have never been to a wedding that offers this or as a matter of fact, anything else apart from candies and chocolates so I was rather intrigued. But then again, I haven’t been to that many weddings so I may not have seen as much.
And look what I found at the site apart from their wedding gifts. A lovely three-drawer pink jewelry box crafted of genuine full-grain leather. Woot. Great eye candy! I think my friend Ashes would definitely love this. Right?

Hey! The site stocks those chrome heart bottle stoppers I got for my helpers. The instant camera ruse has been a little overused lately. Wanted to do that for my wedding but decided against it when I read that many brides have doing it. You shld check out some local shops in sg that offer wedding favours. All sorts of stuff are available these days but to get them at a good price is another issue.
DR: Like I said, I’ve not been to that many weddings especially of late, so these are still considered a novelty to me.

The camera thing is a good idea huh? It wasn’t popular back at my time… we hired a so called professional photographer who were more interested in the food than the bride and groom.. If this was something popular back then, we’d probably taken nicer photos at the wedding reception.
And well, holding a wedding reception seems to be getting more expensive these days.
ZM: Ya lor, our time less novelties. But then again, I doubt I’ll use it even though it sounds interesting.
