Unlike most couples I know, we don’t have a wedding portrait anywhere in our home. We have pictures, yes, but they’re all in an album.
We do, however, have a portrait of Takuya Kimura. It’s huge, about 4 feet I think. That’s him when he was much younger in his early or mid twenties.
I bought the poster from Tower Records some years ago and got my man to put it into a frame I got from Ikea. Unfortunately, it suffered a crack immediately afterwards due to that man’s fault and this portrait has been sitting cold behind the curtains for many years now. Occasionally, I’ll pull it out to admire. And I even make sure that my son recognises him and knows how to pronounce his name. (Yesh he does!)
By the way, Takuya’s new movie Bushi no Ichibun will premiere in theatres in Japan tomorrow. I can’t wait to read the reviews and watch it when it releases officially here.
Wah seh! Although I said I am a Rain’s zealot, I dun have a portrait of him hanging around the house leh. Not even photos of him lor. I must 反省反省 liao.

We don’t have any wedding photos anywhere either. I’m not a fan of photos of any people sitting around the house. It creeps me out to see people looking at me all the time. Even myself.

No people pics for me too. I have this dream of doing a feature wall with monochrome shots, framed in with a thick white border, of every place we have been to.:)

i put up postcards on my wardrobe and the only one that remains unchanged over the years is the Long Vacation postcard (the one released for promo when LV aired in sg)
