Help!
My three-year-old son picks at his nose very often and I found him eating his own booger lately! Worst! Today I saw him digging into his backside and smelling his finger afterwards!
Is my child normal? What should I do?
Yours sincerely,
Bonkers-to-be-Mummy

booger? What’s booger?
Lil’ Joy: It’s the dried mucus from the nose…

My youngest son tells me that he has a classmate who also eats her boogers. Yes, a girl.
niceheart: Not on a daily basis I hope…

I think Gavin is very normal. Most children are very curious and some are adventurous. They do explore things from their body, esp when they had new finding. I recalled the first time I tasted my own mucus. I was curious to realise when the slimy thing flowing from my nose reached my mouth tasted salty! And when swallow owe phlegm taste salty too. But I am not adventurous enough to try the poo! and those from the ear! That’s too gross! But my dear hubby told me those taste bitter! Erwk!
wtpg: Er…you mean he ate before izzit???
