The curious cat when to download IE7 last night and found out to my horror of horrors, that all fonts on our blogs are being compromised. THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME! If I am correct, it’s Verdana. I checked out all the other blogs that I read and all of them share the same fonts as mine too! What the hell is Microsoft trying to promote? Communist spirit in blogging izzit???
Luckily for me, my blog template is intact and I think that annoying 3px error is gone under the new browser. Otherwise, they can expect more cussing from me…

No wonder ppl are moving over to Firefox..

i realise too…once you download the latest version of IE….something bounds to go wrong…..that is why I no longer use IE….it’s either netscape or firefox but for some fussy sites, still have to go back to IE but I no longer download the latest version anymore….
Jan: Unfortunately, most pple still use it to view sites so got no choice but to make sure it looks well under that environment.

You might need to have the fonts installed first for it to work … assuming you are using OSX?
Loong: Izzit??? But I’ve never had to install fonts for other browsers. If that’s the case, this is disastrous!

This is strange. Using a PC at the dentist and realised my blogsite looks sorta strange. Some of the words are terribly tiny. But yet everything looks cool on Firefox, Camino and Safari!
DR: It’s probably the PC’s setting. I’ve noticed that of my blog in other PCs as well…

I have learnt from past horrifying mistakes, that its best to copy and paste your current template onto a notepad before you do something to it. That way, if something goes amiss, you can always retrieve your old codes and paste it back where it belonged.
But anyway, your blog looks fine now.
Lil’ Joy: Yup, that’s the wisest thing to do.
