I put on the contact lenses and I wonder why my vision was so blur. Protein deposits or bits of hair maybe. I removed them, rinsed them carefully and put them on again.
But still, my vision was very blur.
I just changed the lenses didn’t I? These were brand new lenses and they shouldn’t have accumulated much dirt. They were also fine the day before. I removed them, examined each of them carefully by holding them up against the light to check for tear.
None.
Okay, let’s try again. I rinsed them and put them on again.
Still, very blur.
Shit. No time.
I have to take them off and discard them. Brand new pair somemore. Lucky, I still have another spare.
Just when I wanted to toss them into the toilet bowl, I saw something. Another contact lens case. Exactly the same as the one I opened.
That’s when I really woke up.
Those were not my lenses. Those were my husband’s!

Reading this post reminds me of the time when I thought my contact len went up one of my eyelid. And so I dug and dug for about half the morning trying to lure the damn plastic out.
End of the day, I gave up so went to the Optician who did a scan on my pupil and told me there was no sight of len in my eyelid non eye. Must have dropped out on its own, the Optician told me.
Truth enough, I went back and checked. Found the blue len had already shrunk and harded and was lying on the bathroom tile. What an ass I was !
SSF: This happened to me before too! I already took out my lenses but I so blur I thought I never take out. So I pinched and pinched my eyeball until so red. Another case more classic. I try to put on contact lens on one of my eyes which already had a lens. But fortunately in both cases, I never had to go to the optician like you.

There was once I was in a rush to pick up kids from Kindie. I grab my glasses, put them on but dunno why vision blur. Decided to remove them to clean the glasses. But eh, vision clear. Then only i realized that I’m still wearing my contact lense.
