Cos shopping for pretty notepads can make me very happy.  Yeah, more notepads to help this lousymemoryficklemindedperfectionist stay organised.  Heehee…

Now what should I do with the OTHER pile of notepads?

  1. I love fanciful notebooks too.. but end up not using them fully.. so wasteful..! so these days.. i donch buy them.. ;) i wait for promotional stuff from suppliers.. hahhahah!! ya .. i’m pretty el cheapo.. ;)

  2. That’s pretty. I like pretty notebooks too, except I ended up buying a stack of 15 boring spiral notebooks during our last trip to Costco (American wholesaler) in Tokyo and am still working on whittling down to nothingness. Can’t wait till they’re gone and then I can start shopping for pretty notebooks again!

Hsin: You mean you don’t get distracted at all?  I have a bad habit of writing one page and then move on to new ones.  Sometimes I’ll find fault with the current one like bad handwriting, dog earred, etc to buy new notepads.  Geez, I’m too fickle…

  3. What to do with the rest of the notepads? Pile them up. Make them art pieces on your window ledge. OR tear them up each day during dinner - to keep the fish bones or chicken bones.

    MSArt pieces?  Hmmm…

  4. What a coincidence! I was shopping for a notepad at Popular bkshop yesterday to fill in my accessories stuff & in the end got a A4 size notepad. ;)

Ashes: Haha…I can pass you some of my unused notepads too.  Actually went to Popular on Friday night but couldn’t find anything I like.  Then bought something in one of the shops but the price tag too sticky and it destroyed the back of the notepad.  So die die must go get another one.

  5. Oh yah! On the top right hand side of ur photos, the one showing the pokadot notepad I also got 1 of that, it was a X’mas present from a colleague. :)

Those at Borders really very pretty.  Even better than those at Kino.

  6. I love shopping for notebooks too. In fact, I’m more excited shopping for notebooks for my daughters than they are.

earthemberReally?  You mean your girls aren’t too excited or you’re really TOO excited?

  9. Hmm…how I organise myself…

Im not a hi-tec person, so no PDA for me, too sophiscated! But neither do I hv a high rem brain, most prob still at 486! Haha! So better reserved for good things only, work & domesticate stuff, just pen it down on paper lah.

For personal things, I’ll note in those pocket size diary, received yearly from the insurance agent.
Hmm… I used to buy those fancyful notebk during sch days too… Haha you tempt me to get those again!

For work, hack lah… I always binded stack of recycled A4 paper, just scribble there lah! Can also tear into any size for post-it or grocery list or things to do etc… acomplished then throw! :p

wtpg: You sound very organised leh…

  11. I also have little notepads lying around where I scribble notes and blog ideas. :) But they’re not as fancy as yours.

niceheart: Perhaps the phrase “never judge a book by its cover” is suitable here.
