Cos we’re never ever gonna bring the boy to see another round of fireworks display as he’s such a spoilsport who got all uptight and cried when the display began and wanted to leave just while everyone was enjoying and as a result I only have this lousy picture taken and this morning he can still ask me “WHY I SCARED OF FIREWORKS?”

HAHAHAHAHAHA…. this is EXACTLY like Sara at Disneyland. Talks perpetually about it, always wants to go, but when she’s there, she’s too scared to take most rides or see any shows. Cries and fusses. Then comes home and tells me tearfully that she was scared at Disneyland, but yes, she’d like to go again. Wha….???!?!?!
Hsin: Sara also??? And I thought my son is odd! In fact, last night I was quite stressed up and even wondering if he has any behavioural problems cos some children suffer distress when they hear loud noises. So maybe it’s just the scaredy toddler syndrome…

I saw the fireworks at Plaza Sing. It was beautiful!!!
Ashes: Can see from Plaza Sing? It was quite nice but I was so stressed cos of you-know-who to enjoy it properly.

Oh, and one more thing about fireworks. We made the effort to go to Disneyland late so that Sara could catch the fireworks without being too tired, but no….. she slept through it all. And then woke up to ask where the fireworks were. ARGH. What’s up with our kids???!?!?!
Hohoho…kids, what can I say? They will be so excited one minute, and next, all uptight and fussy or all pooped out. I don’t know if that’s unpredictable or what?

hahahha your boy is so cute!!! but why he say u r scared of the fireworks? so funny!!!! *ROTFLMAO*
Evan: He’s referring to himself, asking me why is he afraid of fireworks.

Hey..SS,
He was prolly scared at that moment only.. and then after being in the safety of his own house.. i guess he wasn’t scared anymore. Same like Chloe. .all the time..! Chloe refuses to watch the fireworks that we had on the 1st July during Canada’s Day.
Never say never.. hhahahaA!!! things will change in a couple of months.. you know how children are..
MB: Ya lor…scared hor, but still want to watch. In fact, he’s very keen to watch the fireworks video at home! Already asked me to play it for him many times!

HAha. He was the one who kept asking for it and now he’s telling u that he’s scared of it? Ur Gavin is very funny. I’m sure he’s going to ask you take him to see it again next year.. Haha.
Erika: I won’t be surprised cos last year he was already scared and yet, he still said he wanted to watch this year. See what happened?

Hahaha…reminds me of someone leh…my Damien lah! He was soooooo excited when we told him we’re going to watch the Sesame Street, and guess what when we were inside? Yeah,he cried and refused to be seated on his own, end up he sat on our lap lor…takes more than half an hour before he gets in the mood…sigh..
I believe Gavin is the same as him, takes longer to warm up. Don’t worry, he will gets better and i am sure he will enjoy the fireworks next year!!
Eileen: Huh? Damien scared of Sesame Street show? Maybe the characters were too huge? But at least he warmed up later. My boy was screaming to leave the place.

Heehee.. I bet next year, you’ll bring him to see the fireworks again.
He’s so cute, can still ask you why he’s scared of fireworks the following day yeah?
ZM: Well, we’ll see then…maybe we’ll catch the fireworks ourselves without him.

Yeah! We caught last saturday fireworks too! We were very afraid the girls will react strongly and pior to that we kept reminding them, when the fireworks start, it will be veytindeed they hold onto us very tight when the fireworks start. Throughtout the “bombing” they were very quiet, most probably stuned! Hahaha but I bet they enjoyed the dazzling night very much
I think this is normal children behaviour. They love to see but also afraid of it. They just have to learn to handle their emotion.
wtpg: At least your girls didn’t fuss…

typo… error… due to some “disturbing particle”…
I mean when the fireworks start, it will be very loud! and we even told them to cover their ears!
