We were able to enjoy a leisure breakfast and even read the newspapers in peace with the boy around this morning. All thanks to these toothpicks which kept him entertained for quite a long while.

Note to self: patronise only eating places which provide lotsa toothpicks when we bring him out for meals in future.

Or bring your own toothpicks. Hehe …

haha, I used to do the same when I was a kid, being entertained by toothpicks at restaurants.

Btw, I like the stack of hearts. There’s 3D effect too!

lol. maybe you could start a parent’s guide to dining based on the number of toothpicks available in a restaurant. and sugar cubes. add a section on sugar cubes ‘cuz they’re lots of fun to goof off with too!

We once went to a restaurant where there were crayons on the table and the table cover was made of paper so that the kids could doodle or scribble on them. I thought that was pretty neat.

Haha…toothpicks seem to be good kiddie playthings then?
niceheart: We have a cafe like this too but it’s not geared towards the kids. More for adults’ entertainment!

Thot my son was the only kid who do such things. Haha, now I know I’m not alone.
But very often, you get stares from the waitress and diners. Hmmm.., maybe I should buy my own toothpicks and sugar cubes ah?! Why didn’t I think of that!
