Darn! I keep thinking today is Monday. Maybe that’s why it’s been sort of a hazy Tuesday for me.
I woke up this morning feeling damn drowsy, even though I had sufficient sleep last night. I didn’t even realised I was that drowsy until I saw a reflection of myself and noticed I was wearing my T-shirt INSIDE OUT.
In between the time I did not realise until I realised, a few people already saw me in that inside out T. Namely, people I don’t know at the mini wet market. I hope they were as drowsy as me to have noticed my outfit. Or maybe they noticed and they thought it was fashionable.
Anyway, I was lucky to have caught my own reflection. Otherwise I would probably have driven Gavin to school with a label sticking on my back. And the worst would be to meet the ruling party’s candidates and their entourage halfway down the road in that.
Oh, when I saw them from a distance, I decided to look busy and distracted. Because I spotted them shaking hands with some folks and I didn’t want them coming up to me to shake hands for no specific reason. For goodness sake, I cannot act so plastic early in the morning. Especially not when I’m feeling drowsy.
So it has been kind of a busy, distracting, drowsy morning for me. Thankfully, I wasn’t that sluggish when I got to work and everything was a-okay for the day.
Heck! I know this is a bit of a pointless entry but I have no one to ramble to for the time being. The cold war at home is well…still cold.

I did that once with my t-shirt, after I had a massage. I was so relaxed that I didn’t notice until someone came up and told me out in the waiting area. I was so embarrassed.

You know, my mom told me once that if you wear your shirt inside out, it’s supposed to be a lucky day for you. Dunno how true is that.

Tsk tsk… you must have been real drowsy to not even give yourself a once-over before you leave home. Don’t be angry anymore… It’s not healthy to bear overnight grudges.

You got to do something about the cold war…. try some hot sauce, it may bring back some sizzle.

I really like the ‘plastic’ line. Can match a lot of political wits going around these few days.

Erika, I’ve never heard wear a shirt inside out is lucky. That’s interesting. But nothing particularly lucky happened to me that day.
Ladies, the cold war is over. This time I called a truce, because I am very excited about the forthcoming elections and desperately needed someone to talk to at home! Imagine, cold war thawed by politics!!! What an irony…haha…

If the ruling party’s candidates spotted you, they may have come to shake your hands, and your photo may be plastered all over the newspaper with the inside out T..
