So we did go shopping today…at Ikea. Daddy Darth Vader thought it’s a safe place where I won’t go MIA shopping for my own stuff and the boy can have some fun playing at the children’s section.
He did have quite a bit of fun alright. Rocking on the toy horsey, standing on the rocker, swiveling in the armchair and hiding in the tent. So much fun that by the time we headed to our lunch destination, he fell sound asleep in the car!
In hindsight, I should have bought the rocker and the horsey home. It might come in handy the next time I have trouble getting him to take his afternoon naps!
Looks like Gavin really enjoying himself at Ikea.
Ikea is also my fav hang out place. Heehee.

Oooooo! Our favourite place to play too. I remember the first time I brought Ophelia there, she had so much fun at the sofa section! So much fun that I bought an armchair that she liked so much for her. Hubs as “appropriated” the armchair for his own office - for his afternoon naps! Hahahaha….

IKEA must be like a huge playground for the kids, eh? I haven’t been to the one in Singapore in ages. Perhaps the one here will be just as fun for toddlers!

Next you’ll bring home slides and swings..
I also find getting Zara to nap very difficult. I could have fallen asleep next to her, and she’ll still be yakking away (in her own language)…

I love IKEA, but not the ones here in Canada, or Singapore. IKEA in US is bigger, well-stocked and child-friendly.
