Part of my job requires me to deal with a bunch of insolent brats who constantly wear a huge attitude and are all suffering from an acute attention-deficit disorder. They go by the label known as TEENS.
Please believe me when I say I love them. Seriously, I really do. Compared to the kids and adults that I taint train, they’re far more fun and entertaining. They’re not as clueless as the first group, and are far less cynical as the latter. The best part is I don’t always have to squeeze my brain juice devising new tactics to intrigue them. In fact, they’re never short on jests on an almost daily basis.
Day 1
Is it me or is it the module that is boring that I can’t get your attention?
No lah cher, we are like that. We’re very fair. We treat all the lecherous the same one. Our class is the worst. All the lecherous scared of us. *roars*Day 2

I’ll admit there are days when I had wanted to walk out on them. But that is getting rarer because I’ve already mastered the state of equanimity, thanks to them too. So on most days, I’ll say they’re pretty A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E. ![]()

Hahahaaa.., reminds me of the schooling days! Love to ask questions (nothing to do with the subjects being taught), not paying attention, and ocassionally, embrassing the t’cher.

Oh gosh! They’re a laugh a minute. Where’d you get a job like that? Sure beats dealing with idiot professors everyday.

Haha… reminds me of the schooling days when we would check out what our female t**chers, the more vain ones, wear each day.

17-19 ’s an interesting age group to teach. You do need lots of patience and tact. Sounds like you’re pretty cool-headed about them.
