I thought I’ll take a leisure break with Gavin this morning. Relax while having earl gray tea and blueberry muffin. Unwind a little from a week of stress for me and boredom for him.
So I thought.
It all started really idyllic. Mother and boy sitting on a bench admiring the view of a fountain and enjoying the breeze under the shady trees. Hmm…this is life, I thought to myself, sipping my tea. See, I can even take a picture!
Really nice for about five minutes.
After which, my 3-year-old decided to act up again, and in the process spilling my tea and almost turning over the table. Basically, creating a scene and more stress for me.
Sigh.
I should have just stayed home and be satisfied with my cup of lipton tea instead. Less stressful really.
Well, this is life. INDEED.

Poor …SS..! hang in there gal..! there is light at the end of the tunnel..!!

Think of the good things, happy moments. The two of you were out of the house, having some fresh air, that’s good! Gavin is getting active, which means he is recovering. Active kids are usually clever. That’s two things you can be happy about. Though he almost topple the table, but you manage to save it. So it’s not that bad. I know you would want to struggle him at that instance, but most of the time, after the incident passed, you will just feel it’s no big deal! Cheer up!

Take it easy, dear!Kids are…after all…kids! :)Like what Kwai Yoke said, the fact that he’s able to (almost) topple the table just show that he’s got his strength back..hooray! ;p

Haha…I like the way Kwai Yoke thinks. Very positive. No wonder you can have 2 kids and still go maidless.
Yup, Zara’s Mama. Well said!

Jayden is like a wild animal on the loose whenever he’s out. Never understand where the energy of the boy comes from. Maybe we should let all our boys play together and wear themselves out so that we can have some peace.

If they don’t spill your tea or mess up stuff, they won’t be called boys for nothing. Well, like what Ky said, it was a good chance for the two of you to get out and have fresh air. In fact, I like going out with my son alone. He seems more well-behaved in the absence of his sisters. Haha.

He was much sweeter before this. We can eat out quite normally without much fuss. No shopping though. He doesn’t enjoy that bit. So I thought he’s ready for a short trip away. *sigh*

Give him an ice-cream lor. That’s what we do so that we can have a decent meal out.

Haha - I love KY’s attitude. If only you can think that rationally at the point the tea is spilt! But it is true - at least you managed to get out and give Gavin a little fresh air too. Hang in there! He’s definitely on the mend!
