After all the fun and activities, he is now down with flu and is completely washed-out.
He is still unwell despite spending the entire of yesterday recuperating at home. We brought him to the pediatrician this morning but I couldn’t stay with him as I have to work. So here I am blogging about his illness instead of being with him and feeling completely useless.
That’s the trouble with my work. It’s part-time and I don’t enjoy the usual benefits plus I can’t take off at any time I need to. Well…I guess that’s the tradeoff I have to live with for choosing to walk this path.
Anyway, it’s really annoying that he’s been sick three times this year already. He’s so vulnerable inspite of the precautious and vitamins I’ve been giving him. The worst is he always fall ill after the festivities.
Too much goodness is really not a good thing. Well, at least not for him now. 
Poor thing..!! hope he gets well real soon..

It might do your boy some good if you enrol him for swimming class, at least it helped me and my childhood asthma.

Hmmm, I always wonder how parents managed to stick the gel patch on their children’s forehead. That’s one thing I am never sucessful in doing when my kids are running fever.
Ya, it’s never fun when kid falls sick. No appetite, cannot sleep properly, cranky. Get well soon Gavin!

Ophelia’s sick too - and she’s got a patch like that on her poor little head. It’s the flu season lah…
I turned down the job offer at NTU - precisely because it’s part-time and there are no benefits esp taking leave when I need it. This current job provides more flexibility but I hate my current boss. Have to tahan lor, no choice

Thanks ladies. This is his worst illness to date with fever running up to 38.6 degrees. He was very uncomfortable the whole of yesterday but improved last night. He vomitted some of his milk this morning along with some of the phlegm. I think that somehow made him feel better.
I’m keeping him at home until he gets well. So no school, no shopping and no swimming.

The CNY weather always causes ppl to fall ill.. The food as well contribute in some ways.
