On Monday: Gavin saw a packet of Mamy Poko Diaper I bought him and exclaimed “MAMY KUKU”.
So in the evening when we went to bed, I tried to correct him.
“Gavin, say Mamy Poko.”
“Mamy Kuku.”
“Mamy Poko.”
“Mamy Kuku.”
“Poko. Poko. Poko.”
“Kuku. Kuku. Kuku.” *laughs*
Yesterday: His daddy called him on the phone and they had a little conversation about the Star Wars characters and I heard him saying:
“Mummy is Chewbacca!”
“Daddy is Darth Vader!”
I inched closer to listen into the conversation and as expected, those answers were prompted by his daddy.
Then unexpectedly, Gavin exclaimed “Daddy is Chewbacca!”
Me roars with laughter. Muahahahaha.
Gavin is certainly not as gullible as his dad had hoped for.
I have a mantra and that is BE HAPPY. Yet I realised that while I’ve made a proactive attempt to pursue that, I don’t quite have a true sense about my state of happiness.
Most of the time, something joyful comes along and I’ll be feeling ecstatic for a while. Then I just let that elated feeling subside and die off. I even have difficulty trying to remember them due to my ailing memory.
So I’ve decided to keep tabs on my happiness by creating a log of my small simple everyday happiness. Just to become more aware of the wonderful little things that come my way each and every day.
I believe that putting down in words will also allow me to capture and relive those wondrous moments occasionally. Plus the cumulative effects of seeing a list will definitely increase my positive feelings and boost my overall happiness.
YAY! I’m already feeling peppy just thinking about this!
A haircut plus some new clothes and he’s all set for the Chinese New Year next week. Literally a child’s play! But more work coming up for mummy and daddy…

I just saw a clip of Madonna performing in SMAPXSMAP Christmas Special on youtube.com. She performed “Hung Up” dressed in a red leotard accompanied by her dancers, and then met Katsuken (Shingo Katori) from SMAP who did a parody of her dances. It was hilarious! I must try to watch her as a guest on bistro smap where I understand:
-
she was rude to Nakai
-
she dissed Shingo
-
she kissed Takuya!!!
SMAP is the boyband where my Takuya Kimura belongs and they’re HUGE in Japan. That’s why our Queen of pop went on two of their shows during her recent promotional tour. Grrrrrr…MUST WATCH THAT KISSING SCENE!
OMG! How could I have missed this news? When was it out? Last week!!! OMG! *GASP* Help me. I AM SO LATE ON THIS ONE!
Japanese actor Takuya Kimura and singer Shizuka Kudo, who married in 2000, are heading for a divorce, website sina.com reported. A third party has been fingered as one reason for their alleged falling out. Kudo has reportedly been seen out with another man.
Cheebye! You kidding me or what? Shouldn’t it be Takuya, THE GORGEOUS, who is seen out with another woman? Geez, how can she be so shameless when her husband is TAKUYA KIMURA???
I frantically scoured the net and found another piece of information on Mainichi which seems more plausible.
“Everybody was talking about how one of the couple had found a new ‘friend’ of the opposite sex, but it turns out this news was actually a deliberate leak,” an editor for the entertainment section of a woman’s magazine tells Shukan Shincho. “Apparently, what’s going around on the grapevine now is that the couple’s kids have gotten older and Shizuka’s got more spare time on her hands. She wants to get her singing career back into swing full-time, but Kimura wants her to stay at home.”
Whew. So it’s got nothing to do with her and a third party afterall. Oh come on, who wants to go out with that woman? Please, she DOESN’T even deserve Takuya. She should just count her blessings for having snared Takuya and STAY PUT.
Mean I am not. Noticed how the article described the couple in its opening?
“SMAP heartthrob Takuya Kimura and his squeaky-voiced singer spouse Shizuka Kudo are set to split.”
EVERYBODY WHO LOVES HIM HATES HER.
Heck, nothing is sober when it comes to my world of Takuya Kimura. It’s too dazzling and I’m completely stupefied all the time.
Well, I did say I’m shallow. Sometimes.
