Zu just got the car “V-Kool” this week. So now the windows look tinted in a darker shade. It’s not exactly cheap at $1135 but he justified it as an investment for the car. I wasn’t exactly convinced until I discovered that the protective film not only block over half of the sun’s heat, it can actually reduce infrared rays. Oooooh…that means SPF protection for my skin when I’m driving the car! And indeed, the car interior felt cooler even when it was parked directly under the bright sunlight.
Well, let’s just say that there are always a myriad of reasons why owning a car in Singapore is exceptionally expensive. Apart from the cost of ownership, the cost of maintenance, there’s also the cost of sun protection.
