Every woman is different in the way they splurge to zhng themselves. Some spent most of their money on jewelries, some on clothes, some on bags, some on accessories, some on shoes, some on cosmetics, some on hair, some on body, some on nails, and so on… What do you spend most in a year to zhng to make yourself look and feel good?
Well, I spent most of my budget to zhng the portion from my neck upwards. That would be my face and my hair lah…they are my priorities. I tend to spend most of my money on skincare and haircare products. Anyway, talking about skincare, I must talk about sunblock. This is a MUST-HAVE for every woman! I only started putting on sunblock on a daily basis like six or seven years ago. I regretted being lazy about it in my younger days and am now living with some of the sun damages, although it won’t be for long… But even when my sun spots are removed, I still must put on sunblock religiously. The doctor told me that my sunblock must have at least a SPF of 20 but I am very kiasu. Mine is SPF 30! And he told me that I should apply it everyday, indoors or outdoors and if outdoors, to apply for at least 20 minutes before leaving the house. He also recommended that I re-apply in the afternoon again if possible. So now I’m very fanatic about applying sunblock, and even apply them on my hands!
The same is true for children. Because we plan to bring Gavin for a swim last week, I made it a point to buy him a sunblock to protect his delicate skin. So now he has a sunblock with a SPF of 30. I noticed a father applying sunblock for his girl just before she took a dip and was tempted to tell him that he should have applied it at home. But then, sometimes better not be so kaypo… maybe he or his wife already did that?
For the men, I don’t suppose they want to put on a sunblock daily. But it’s advisable to put on one especially when pursuing outdoor activities like golfing in this sort of sunny weather. It’s easy to get skin disease if one is not careful. So, protection is better than cure!
Meaning of zhng: a local dialect to mean “beautify”.
